Indiana team first in CPR competition

Indiana Emergency Medical Services personnel won first place in the CPR competition Wednesday at the EMS World Expo in Las Vegas. The competition involved 30 teams from around the world.

The Indiana team included Carl Wireman of Parkview Huntington EMS in Huntington, along with Keith Robbins, Cody Manges and Tyler Huffer of Multi-Township EMS in Kosciusko and Marshall counties.

The competition tested the team on time and airway management and the rate of chest compressions.
