What's wrong with the daylilies?

Next week's edition of The Dirt comes from my mailbox. A reader is asking why her daylilies all bloom at once and then look weedy. She said she added more varieties the next year and they all bloomed at once and then looked even weedier than the year before.

If you've had good luck with extending the bloom season and can offer some tips to a beginner, email garden@jg.net.

If you have a picture or two to share, even better! Just attach the JPEG to the email.
