Verbatim: Ind. anti-sexual violence movement meets Tuesday

Statement, verbatim, as issued Saturday by the Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault (INCASA):

INDIANAPOLIS – Stakeholders of the Indiana anti-sexual violence movement will convene Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 to set strategic goals and shape Indiana's vision of pursing the eradication of sexual violence. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET and be held at the Wyndham Hotel located at 2544 Executive Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46241 in meeting rooms Fortunate A & B.

The meeting is expected to be attended by a diverse group of professionals, organizations, special interest groups, sexual assault survivors, and support systems across the anti-sexual violence movement. Everyone that is part of the anti-sexual violence movement is invited to be a part of this conversation that will renew the vision of the anti-sexual violence movement, and brainstorm where the anti-sexual violence movement should be in the next three to five years.

"This meeting will provide the stakeholders an opportunity to communicate and interact with each other to shape the future and direction of the anti-sexual violence movement," said Anita Carpenter, Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault Chief Executive Officer. "It's a wonderful opportunity for the anti-sexual violence movement as a whole to re-energize our efforts, and to move forward together as a united front," added Carpenter.

Hedges & Associates, a consulting and strategic planning agency from Indianapolis, will facilitate the stakeholders meeting. Attached is the agenda for the meeting on September 10th. If any individuals are interested in registering for this meeting, please email incasa@incasa.org for a registration form. For any additional questions or to inquire on media availability, please contact INCASA Director of Media & Public Relations Erik Scheub.
