Would have listened but didn't know about it. Not enough advance notice.

Since I live in the Indy area I am not up to date regarding the FW sports radio lineup. Which Franke brother normally hosts the BS sports show?

Pretty sure you're just trying to be funny, indy ks fan. At least I hope you are.
Agreeing to a point with JR. The show, being local, is probably a good thing for the radio station as it sells the advertising and probably keeps most of it. The two hosts don't bring, what I would call, special knowledge nor sports name recognition. Except for B.E. and his past rock radio career and his "slip up" a couple New Years Eve's ago, one could legitimately question his fame(?) and qualifications.
So indy k's fan, as a season ticket holder, I will tell you that I don't agree with everything the Franke's do. Still, I have never found them to be rude. On the other hand, they have taken their own time out of their schedules to speak with me and discuss various topics. That would include all the Franke brothers, not just Michael and David.
Of course, my relaying that won't be popular on this blog, but sometimes it's easier to ridicule than to be fair. What does that news network call it? Oh yes, fair and balanced.

Alan, I am not trying to be funny. My experiences with the Frankes have been the opposite of yours. I know that it is not popular to call someone a liar but what do you call someone who fails to tell the truth frequently enough that a pattern has developed?
I do not consider relaying my experiences to be ridicule. I view my observations to be fair based on my encounters with them. Good for you that you have found them to be accommodating. I can tell you for a fact that they are not that way with everyone.

Thanks for responding, indy ks fan.
I'm sorry that you have had that experience.
I hope everything else is well with you, and I wish we had some "news" our way. Still don't know about the "future considerations" that we owe and is owed.
Training camp 10/6. First exhibition game one month from today at Wheeling.

indy ks fan, did it ever occure to you that it just might be you not the Frankes
Posted by john ausbury (2 posts) at 7:32 pm Monday
That would be hard to believe John.

Yes, John Ausbury, there would be no problems in Kometland if it wasn't for my sheer existence on this planet. The Frankes are perfect human beings and there is no possible way that they could be responsible for saying anything that was not 100% true. It was also my fault that the Ks finished out of the playoff hunt last year. It was my fault that all of the Anaheim/Norfolk guys were not "our guys".
Alan, this time my objective was to be funny. I am not sure that I succeeded. I probably didn't from Mr. Ausbury's point of view.

Hey, stop trying to be funny. This is a serious blog and we do not have time for funny, sarcasm or criticism and God help you if you dare bring facts to the table! My experience, Michael F = good guy, David F. = jerk Man, do we need some more hockey news if this is what we are reduced to talking about.

My thoughts exactly Tim!!! Komets don't make the playoffs one year after winning how many cups? Now the Franke's are so terrible. indy ks fan isn't there a hockey team in Indy you can be a fan of?

Even though I didn't agree with everything indy ks fan wrote, I will defend him to his point of relaying his experiences. I'm not walking in his shoes and neither is anyone else. We had a little discussion about personal thoughts and experience, that's all. Tim g had an interesting contribution also.
I'm going to second the notion from both tim g and BNYS regarding the need for some good ol' Komet news. It's been a couple of weeks now and the season seems to be approaching pretty fast. Other teams are starting to fill their rosters, more and more NHL news is starting to filter its way in the announcements, and training camp (exhibition games) will be here soon.
The K's seem to keep the interest high during the off season by sprinkling announcements. I, for one, find the announcements pretty interesting and, some, very though provoking.
They have done this for years so I wouldn't presume to make suggestions, but, wouldn't a major signing (announcement) or two now, encourage more ticket sales (even season ticket sales) as the season speeds closer?
The way I see it, no final announcement has been made on an affiliation, no player announcements have been made for a few weeks, no information on who or what were the "future considerations" on the two trades, nor any invites to training camp.
I would love to hear (read) Coach Grahams' outlook on camp, and if everyone has kept their intention of attending.
