Free document shredding Friday

3Rivers Federal Credit Union has partnered with the Indiana State Police and Iron Mountain for Shred Day on Friday.

A mobile shredder will be set up in the rear parking lot of the 3Rivers Northland Campus (off of Lima Road across from Crazy Pinz) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public is invited to bring unwanted papers and credit cards to be securely destroyed free of charge. Documents are carted directly to Iron Mountain's shredding truck for immediate destruction.

In 2012, Shred Day produced 4,300 pounds of documents that were shredded and recycled.
