Irish forward Zach Auguste has sprained ankle

SOUTH BEND - Notre Dame sophomore forward Zach Auguste has a sprained ankle and is wearing a protective walking boot, an Irish spokeswoman confirmed.

Auguste is expected to be sidelined seven to 10 days by the injury, said Bernadette Cafarelli, Notre Dame assistant athletic director/media relations director, in an email.

Auguste averaged 3.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game last season. He played in 25 games as a freshman.
