Our Hope Lutheran Church and School, 1826 Trinity Drive in Huntertown, will have a seminar led by the Rev. Dr. Paul L Maier, professor emeritus at Western Michigan University, on Sept. 7. The registration deadline is Wednesday; call 260-637-3625 or email Cost is $10. Maier will also be the guest preacher at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services Sept. 8.

First Baptist Church, 208 W. Market St. in Pierceton, will have a presentation by the Bob Jones University Drama Ministry Team at 7 p.m. Thursday. Admission is free, but a freewill donation is suggested.

Special music

•Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St., will have its “Fridays in September” from 12:10 to 12:40 p.m. in the Krauss Chapel from Friday to Sept. 27. On Friday, the string trio of Kristin Westover, Pablo Vasquez and Debra Graham will perform. A $2 lunch will follow the concert.

Salem Presbyterian Church in Venedocia, Ohio, will have its Welsh Festival of Song at 7 p.m. Sunday. A supper will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. for a freewill donation.
