Kosciusko sets sobriety checkpoint

Kosciusko County and local law enforcement agencies will continue roving patrols and sobriety checkpoints during the month of September as part of the Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce, according to a statement from the Taskforce.

Roving patrols and the sobriety checkpoint will be 10 p.m. Sept. 13 to 2 a.m. Sept. 14. The sobriety checkpoint will be at Lake City Bank at 202 W. Main St. (Indiana 25) in Mentone, the statement said.

These precautions are sponsored by the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving as part of a statewide project to reduce alcohol-related crashes, deaths and injuries.
