Defiance man charged with making meth

A Defiance, Ohio, man was arrested on a methamphetamine charge after the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force searched his home, the task force said today.

Tyson Bailey, 32, was charged with illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, the task force said in a statement. A 29-year-old Defiance woman was charged with violating her probation, the statement said.

It said the task force and members of the Adult Probation and Parole Authority searched a residence in the 1400 block of South Clinton Street.

During the search, the statement said, agents found several cooking vessels used in the production of meth, as well as several precursors to manufacturing meth.

Task force members are the Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Purtnam and Williams county sheriff's offices and the Defiance and Bryan city police departments.
