AUDITIONS: Civic Theatre will have an audition for 9 to 5: The Musical from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Arts United Center, 303 E. Main St. Performances are Nov. 9 to 24.

GREEN SCREEN DAY: The Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday for Green Screen Day in the main studio of Access Fort Wayne. Residents may bring their cameras or phones and record a video in front of the green screen.

THEATRE RECEIVES GRANT: The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre has received a $30,000 grant from the John S. and James Knight Foundation Fund for the 2014 Northeast Indiana Playwright Festival.
TRAIL DIGITIZE: ARCH Inc. has digitalized the Central Downtown Heritage Trail. The Bicentennial Heritage Trail consists of four walking trails that contain 59 historical sites around the city and 14 sites in Headwaters Park. For information, go to www.archfw.org.
VOLUNTEERS RECOGNIZED: Niswonger Volunteers recently hosted an appreciation dinner for more than 150 volunteers of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Van Wert, Ohio.
WINNER NAMED: Barb Sieminski of Fort Wayne placed third in the agritourism category of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture Photo Contest at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis.
