Channel 39 to go off-air for maintenance, upgrades

WFWA-TV, Channel 39 will be off the air from 11 p.m. Saturday for six to seven hours for scheduled infrastructure and equipment upgrades, the station said today.

The work is part of the station's "empowering community connections" technology campaign, which eventually will allow the station to offer and maintain increased service and content delivery to viewers, the statement said.

Normal operations are to resume by 7 a.m. Sunday, it said.
