TinCaps, Hot Rods starters duel

It's been a pitching duel through six innings at Parkview Field, with both the Fort Wayne and Bowling Green pitchers tossing shutouts so far.

TinCaps starter Joe Ross got into a bases-loaded jam in the third inning and runners on second and third with one out in the fifth, but otherwise has been dominant. Ross went six innings with three hits, two walks and three strikeouts and will be replaced by Trevor Gott in the seventh.

Jordan Harrison has been sensational for the Hot Rods, too.

The lefty gave up three hits in his first two innings but retired 13 of the next 14 batters he faced.
