County man named in child porn case

A 51-year-old Allen County man was indicted in June on a single count of possession of child pornography, but the indictment was sealed.

After the Wednesday arrest of Keith L. Kinney, a federal judge ordered the documents unsealed.

According to the two-page indictment, the federal government also seeks the forfeiture of a Toshiba laptop and hard drive that may contain or have been used in the transmission of the pornographic images of children.

Kinney is in the Allen County Jail, and federal prosecutors seek to have him detained until the case is concluded, according to court records.

He faces no more than 10 years in prison if he is convicted, according to court documents.
