Crean announces Hoosier Hysteria date

Indiana coach Tom Crean announced Thursday via Twitter that Hoosier Hysteria, the team's version of Midnight Madness, will take place Oct. 4.

Hoosier Hysteria is an annual, fan-focused event to tip off the basketball season. Assembly Hall was packed to capacity for last year's rendition, and IU tries to bring in its top recruits for every cycle to Hoosier Hysteria.

The IU football game against Penn State, as well as new inductions to the IU Athletics Hall of Fame, will also take place the weekend of Oct. 4.
