TinCaps win back-and-forth game

The TinCaps coughed up an early three-run lead but didn't get rattled, defeating the Lake County Captains 7-5 in Eastlake, Ohio, on Friday night.

The TinCaps had an early 3-0 lead, but it had melted into a 4-3 deficit by the seventh inning.

Then, Fort Wayne (14-25 in the second half, 57-51 overall) took charge.

Alberth Martinez had a home run to tie it in the seventh. Luis Domoromo's RBI double in the eighth gave Fort Wayne the lead. And Gabriel Quintana and Domoromo drove in two more runs in the ninth.

Domoromo was 2 for 4 with two RBI against the Captains (19-21, 42-65). Quintana, Mallex Smith and Maxx Tissenbaum also had multiple hits.

Prior to their game, pitcher Joe Church was placed on the disabled list, making room for the now-healthy Roman Madrid, who got his 16th save.

The TinCaps have the maximum 25 players on their roster.
