Suspect in Ossian bank robbery arrested

Travier

Police in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Tuesday arrested a 29-year-old man wanted in connection to the May robbery of an Ossian bank, the FBI reported Tuesday night.

Earlier Tuesday, the FBI sent out a plea for information leading to the arrest of Dontae Travier, offering a reward.

He was picked up Tuesday evening by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team, the FBI said in a statement.

The FBI reported that Travier was known to record and perform in rap music videos and believed to be currently in Michigan. He is also known as Dontae Deshawn Williams-Travier, "Touchey," "Touchey-G," "Kid" and "Tay."

He is charged in connection with the robbery of the PNC bank, though no federal court documents were available Tuesday.

About 2:45 p.m. May 29, the PNC bank at 1102 N. Jefferson St. in Ossian was robbed by three men. In surveillance photos released by the FBI, two of the men had their faces concealed while the other man wore sunglasses.

The FBI Tuesday announced a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to Travier's arrest.

It was not known Tuesday evening whether anyone will be collecting the reward money.
