Pence to make 5 stops in Allen, Noble

Gov. Mike Pence will make two appearances in Kendallville and three in Fort Wayne on Wednesday.

His office said Tuesday that he and wife Karen will promote fitness by taking part in a mile-long walk that starts at 8:30 a.m. at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, 1005 W. Rudisill Blvd.

At 10:15 a.m., Pence will present a grant to the Aboite Township Fire Department, 11321 Aboite Center Road. At noon, he will have a town hall meeting at the downtown Allen County Public Library.

Pence will recognize the 150-year anniversary of Campbell & Fetter Bank of Kendallville, as well as that city's sesquicentennial, during a 3 p.m. visit to the bank at 126 S. Orchard St.

The Republican governor will tour Courier Corp. in Kendallville at 4:15 p.m. and have a jobs roundtable discussion at the printing operation at 2094 Lester Drive.
