And Another Thing

Major fun in the minors

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: No one has more all-out fun than the people employed by minor league baseball.

Today's hijinks: The Double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels, as part of Salute to Scandal Night, are poking fun at New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner's, um, Twitter issues by selling $1 hotdogs and encouraging fans to tweet photos of themselves enjoying their dogs.

Two observations about that:

1. The nickname "Flying Squirrels" is totally awesome all by itself.

2. For propriety's sake, here's hoping the Squirrels require everyone to at least put mustard on their dogs. There's been entirely too much nudity on Twitter lately.

Well. If you follow Weiner, anyway.
