A small compact garden can yield enough for daily meals.

Time to enjoy the vegetable garden

I love my vegetable garden, especially now. I am now able to pick a few vegetables and then prepare them for dinner. I am currently eating a lot of Greek salads with all the cucumbers and tomatoes that have matured.

I have a lot of vegetables crammed into a small space and some pots. Everything seems to be thriving and I really haven't put that much effort into care. The rain we have had so far has cut down on the need to water. I did water daily during the short hot spell we had.

I have also have also had very few weeds to pull out. Between the mulch and the tight space of the vegetable plants the weeds don't have much of an opportunity.
