A man died after his vehicle crashed into a bridge and came to rest in the Maumee River early Saturday, the Fort Wayne Police Department said.
Police were called to the area of Coombs and Herbert streets north of East Washington Boulevard in reference to a personal injury accident. Witnesses told officers the car had crashed into the bridge and was in the river, police said.
