CINCINNATI – All-Pro receiver A.J. Green twisted his left knee while trying to make a sideline catch during the Cincinnati Bengals first practice of training camp on Thursday, then walked to the trainers room for treatment.
Green planted his left foot and twisted the knee while reaching for the ball, which deflected off his upper arm. He landed hard, rolled onto his back and grabbed the knee before putting his hands on the top of his helmet.
Green stayed down for a couple of minutes while a trainer examined the knee. He got up, walked about 20 yards, then stopped and grabbed the knee again.
Finally, he headed for the locker room without assistance.
I think hes fine, coach Marvin Lewis said. They went inside just so they can take a look, but I think hes fine.

Cowboys’ stadium gets new name
The Dallas Cowboys announced a multiyear branding deal that will immediately change the name of billion-dollar Cowboys Stadium to AT&T Stadium.
Team officials declined to reveal terms of the deal, including cost and how many years are included.

San Francisco cornerback Tarell Brown voided a $2 million escalator in his contract after he chose not to participate in the teams voluntary offseason program. Brown said he didnt know about that clause in the deal, and he then fired agent Brian Overstreet for the mistake.
Washington defensive end Adam Carriker is out four to five months after a third surgery on his right knee. Minnesota signed first-round draft pick Sharrif Floyd. Oakland signed first-round pick D.J. Hayden.
