Looking for a few good kids

The Mad Ants are looking for a few good kids.

The search for ball kids -- the kids who distribute water, towels and warmups during timeouts, mop the court and rebound for the players in pregame and at halftime -- is on. To qualify, students must be 10 to 18 years old.

Applicants must also be able to attend all games that are assigned to him or her, must be able to refrain from asking for autographs, chit-chatting with, or horsing around with the athletes while working, and must be able to arrive no later than an hour and a half before tip-off and stay through the end of the game.

If chosen, ball kids will receive two complimentary season tickets, official Mad Ants Ball Kid apparel and their pictures posted on the Mad Ants website. More information and applications can be found on the Mad Ants homepage at
