Forwards Chris Auger and John Dunbar have re-signed with the Komets for the 2013-14 season, and three rookies also have signed, the club said today.

Rookie defensemen Joe Hartman and Kyle Follmer and center Scott Fleming have signed contracts, the Komets said in a statement.

Auger, 25, of Belleville, Ontario, played four games for the Komets last year but missed most of the season because of injury. He scored 28 goals in the 2011-12 season, when he was named the team's rookie of the year and Fort Wayne won the CHL title.

Dunbar, 22, of Calgary, Alberta, split last season between Fort Wayne and Pensacola of the SPHL. He had five goals and five assists in 17 games with the Komets.

Hartman, 24, of St. Cloud, Minn., has played at Miami (Ohio), and helped the Redhawks to two NCAA regular-season titles in his four-year career there.

Follmer, 25, of St. Paul, Minn., played at Northern Michiganh, scoring 15 goals and 52 assists with 194 penalty minutes during his career.

Fleming, 25, of Plainfield, Ontario, had six pro games with Gwinnett in 2011-12, and played four years at Dartmouth, with 31 points as captain his senior year.

Fifteen players are signed for the current season, including nine forwards and six defensemen, the Komets said.
