SAN DIEGO – Superman is coming back and hell have a caped co-star.
Man of Steel director Zack Snyder announced Saturday at San Diegos Comic-Con that he was making another Superman film and that it will include Batman – the first time the two superheroes will be united on the big screen.
He declined to reveal many details, saying the script is just being written. He then invited an actor onstage to read a passage to hint at the story line.
I am the man who beat you, Harry Lennox read.
Warner Bros. then confirmed the first-ever pairing in a statement.
Snyder reimagined Superman in his June blockbuster Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, which has grossed more than $630 million worldwide.
Rihanna suing British retailer
LONDON – Racks of T-shirts bearing Rihannas image have been on display at Londons High Court, where the singer is suing a British retailer for using her image.
Lawyers for the star seek damages from Arcadia Group Brands Ltd., which owns the Topshop fashion chain, after it sold shirts bearing her picture without permission.
Rihannas lawyers accuse Topshop of trying to pass off the T-shirt as being approved or authorized by the singer.
The store says Rihanna is seeking legal recognition for a flawed assumption that only a celebrity or her successors may ever market, or license the marketing, of her own character.
A hearing was held Friday.
