I really love this, too.

It is 8 oz. and it is so pretty!

July 12: Day 14

I spun for about 20 minutes on Friday night, but my heart was actually in working on a Secret Knitting Project, so I dropped it after that to knit!

July 13: Day 15

I finished spinning the first of the two batts, and wove two samples. It was really fun using up bits and pieces of handspun yarn. Weaving is extra-fun for me with my own yarn because then I don't have to feel guilty about not using my yarn.

I tend to knit with commercial yarns because I want other people to be able to knit the exact same thing - which is hard if I spin the yarn myself!

July 14: Day 16

On Sunday, the spinning bug really bit me. I prepped and spun an entire 3.5-oz. batt over a couple of hours! The singles need to rest, so this morning I rested, too.

Tonight, I will rewind the singles from the bobbins onto storage cardboard tubes (you can see one in the bottom of the Kate I use). If I have time, I might ply.

What should I spin next? I could spin more batts, or I could spin some BFL top, for a totally different spinning experience. I haven't decided.
