I spun today, I swear.

Tour de Fleece, Day 13

I love the giant bobbins I have for my wheel. I really do. The only thing is, if I'm spinning a big (for me) project, it's hard to feel like I'm making very much progress.

I can see the pile of pseudo-rolags getting smaller, but the bobbin doesn't look all that different from day to day.

Maybe this is a meditative lesson I could learn from spinning. "Keep up your practice, don't get caught up in a specific kind of progress."

Or maybe I'll weigh my fiber basket before I start my next batt, so I can weigh it again when I feel like my progress is too slow...
