20 more minutes of spinning.

Tour de Fleece, Day 12

Thanks, mom!

Time

Another 20 minutes of spinning this morning. It's really coming along!

I want to share a little tip that my mom taught me when I was in high school. If you know you only have 20 (or 30 or 60) minutes to do something, set a kitchen timer.

Otherwise, it's really easy to get into the book/spinning/movie you're messing with and make yourself late.

Weaving:

I tried warping up the loom with some of the nubbly, art-type yarn I used just for weft on the last project - but it didn't stand up to even being drawn out for the warp.

Oh well! I could ply it with something, but instead I just warped the loom up with the same yarn I used before and will change how often I add the art yarn. I'm thinking every other pick, instead of every third pick.
