Howard added to D-League summer team

Ron Howard was chosen to play on the NBA D-League Select team for the upcoming NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The team, announced Monday, is made up of 12 of the top NBA D-League prospects from 10 different teams.

Howard is one of eight players on the Select team roster who participated in the 2013 D-League Playoffs.

The Select team is scheduled to begin play Saturday against Minnesota. The schedule is currently comprised of three games followed by at least two games to contend for the inaugural NBA Summer League Championship title.
