Silver Alert declared for missing man

Statement as distributed Monday by the Indiana State Police on the statewide Silver Alert:

The Jeffersonville Police Department is investigating the disappearance of an adult from Jeffersonville, Indiana who was last seen in New Albany, Indiana. New Albany, Indiana is located adjacent to Louisville, Kentucky. Timothy F. Fry is a 68 year old white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and 200 lbs., with black graying hair, blue eyes and wears glasses. Timothy F. Fry was last seen at 9:30 am EST on Sunday July 7, 2013 and is believed to be in danger. Timothy F. Fry was last seen wearing an orange polo shirt and black pants. Timothy F. Fry may be disoriented and require medical attention. He is believed to be driving a brown 2013 Ford Escape SUV with Indiana plate 531BAI.

Update: The state police issued at update about 9 a.m. Monday to cancel the alert. Fry has been found.
