Stolen vehicles keep police busy

While deputies from Williams County, Ohio, were looking for two stolen pickup trucks, they found another vehicle which had been stolen in northeast Indiana.

In the past few days, two unlocked pickups were taken from Edon, Ohio. One was found Wednesday morning in Blakeslee, Ohio, and the other in DeKalb County, the Williams County Sheriff’s Department said.

Deputies were looking for the Dodge Dakota and GMC Sierra from Edon when a vehicle stolen in DeKalb County was found along Williams County Road 3, south of County Road E.

On Friday, a third vehicle was reported missing from Edon.

The 2000 blue Ford Explorer belongs to a man who lives on County Road 5, the sheriff’s department said.

It was reported missing at 2:21 a.m. and had not been recovered as of Friday evening.
