Toys R Us recalls Fast Lane helicopters

Toys R Us has recalled some remote-controlled helicopters due to fire and burn hazards, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced.

The recall is for the Fast Lane FA-005 3-channel helicopter with gyro stabilizer and charter, model number 5F5F2F5. The model number is printed on the front of the package and underside of the product.

The double-rotor helicopters are blue and white, measure about 9 inches high and have the Fast Lane logo on the top.

Toys R Us has received 11 reports of the rechargeable batteries overheating. No injuries were reported, the company said. The helicopters sold for about $100 from September through January.

Consumers should return the products to a Toys R Us store for a refund.
