Fireworks in the region

Adams County

Decatur: Activities begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Riverside Center, with fireworks about 30 minutes after dark.

Allen County

Fort Wayne: IPFW's fireworks show begins at 10:15 p.m. Thursday. Free parking will be available on IPFW's north campus, and food vendors will be set up in Lot 12. Enter via Crescent Boulevard or St. Joe Road; the Anthony Boulevard entrance will be closed. Ivy Tech will also provide parking at its Coliseum and North campuses beginning at 6 p.m. Parking at Ivy Tech will cost $3 per car, and the money will be donated to the Ivy Tech Northeast Foundation to be used for student scholarships.

The TinCaps' game against the South Bend Silver Hawks begins at 7:05 p.m. Thursday with fireworks to follow. A ticket is required for the game.

DeKalb County

Auburn: Fireworks begin at dusk Friday at Auburn Auction Park, 5540 North County Road.

Garrett: Garrett Heritage Days is Wednesday and Thursday at Eastside Park. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Thursday.

Huntington County

Huntington: Fireworks begin at dusk Thursday at Huntington North High School.

Roanoke: Fireworks begin at dusk Thursday at Roanoke Park on Seminary Street.

Warren: Salamonie Summer Festival runs Thursday to July 7, including a parade, fireworks, car and bike cruise-in, antique tractors, games and sporting events. For more information, go to www.warrenindiana.com.

Syracuse: Fireworks begin at dusk Thursday at Lakeside Park on North Long Drive.

Warsaw: Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Friday at Winona Lake.

Lake Wawasee: Fireworks over the lake begin at dusk Saturday.

North Webster: Fireworks over Webster Lake begin at dusk Saturday.

Lake Tippecanoe: Fireworks over the lake begin at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Chapman Lake: Fireworks over the lake begin at dusk Saturday.
