Cucumbers in a pot

Just maybe this summer, I will be able to produce cucumbers.

The first year I grew cucumbers, I was so successful that I had enough left over to can dill pickles. The last two years the cucumber beetles killed off my plants early in the season.

I am growing Bush Champion cucumber plants in pots away from the vegetable garden. They are producing a lot of fruit and I haven't seen any cucumber beetles yet.

I am hoping that this will be the summer I get to enjoy cucumbers from my garden.
