Suspect arrested in Hobby Lobby body dump

RUSSELL, Ky. – An Ohio man has been charged with killing an eastern Kentucky woman whose remains were found behind a Hobby Lobby store.

Russell Police Det. Adam Davis said 30-year-old Arthur R. Quigley is charged in the death of Mary Dixon of South Shore. The Preble County, Ohio Sheriff’s Department arrested Quigley, of Kitts Hills, Ohio, on Sunday. Kitts Hills is directly across the Ohio River from Greenup County, Ky.

Russell said Quigley is being held in Ohio and will be extradited to Kentucky soon.

Dixon’s remains were found Saturday afternoon behind the store in Russell. She was last seen Wednesday night at a Subway restaurant in Russell where she worked.

Police say Dixon planned to go to her mother’s home in South Shore, but never arrived.
