Ferrell, Sheehey make USA Basketball World University Games team

Indiana sophomore Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell and senior Will Sheehey made the USA Basketball World University Games 12-man roster, USA Basketball announced today.

Ferrell and Sheehey were among 16 finalists for the roster, which was cut to 15 because of an injury to Duke's Rodney Hood during the training camp in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Hoosiers will be two of four Big Ten representatives as the team heads to Russia on Monday for the start of the World University Games on July 7. Michigan State's Adreian Payne and Iowa's Aaron White also made the team.

Team USA will compete in Group C during the preliminary round of the games. Its competition includes Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates. ESPNU will broadcast the World University Games competitions.
