South Side's Gulley commits to Cal State-Fullerton

South Side guard Lakyn Gulley committed to California State-Fullerton on Friday, Archers coach Juanita Goodwell confirmed Saturday.

Gulley, who averaged eight points, two rebounds and one assist as a junior, took an unofficial visit with the Titans on Friday. She received an offer and verbally committed.

The Titans began recruiting Gulley in mid-February, her coach said.

"Lakyn had received an email from Cal-State," Goodwell said. "They followed her all the way through the state tournament and followed the game online."
