An 18-year-old northwest Ohio man is accused of taking two generators and tools owned by the city of Bryan, Ohio.
On Thursday, the city engineer’s office reported that about $2,000 worth of equipment was stolen from vehicles parked at the Don North Municipal building, according to a statement issued by the Bryan Police Department.
It said police believe the thefts were linked to a prowler call earlier in the week and checked with the owner of a truck at the scene of Tuesday’s call to the Moore Park pool.
The police said the truck owner confirmed he found the stolen items on his property and agreed to bring them in to the police department.
Zeke E, Cooley, who lives in the Bryan area, was charged with felony theft. Police said several suspects were brought in for questioning and one of them confessed.
