Swimmer's body recovered from Little Chapman Lake

The body of a 70-year-old Warsaw man was recovered this morning from Little Chapman Lake, a day after the man went underwater while swimming, Indiana conservation officers said.

Edward Hundley was swimming from a pontoon boat when he went under about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, conservation officers said in a statement.

Search and recovery operations were suspended Tuesday night because of severe weather, and resumed this morning, the statement said. It said conservation officers, with the help of Kosciusko County's dive team, made the recovery late this morning.
