Fire roars through downtown Bluffton apartments

BLUFTTON, Ind. – A fire has roared through four apartments in a northeastern Indiana city’s downtown district but all of the occupants who were home at the time were able to get out safely.

The Bluffton News-Banner and WANE-TV report multiple fire departments needed more than two hours to extinguish the fire Wednesday afternoon in downtown Bluffton.

Tenant Lawrence Dishong says he grabbed his dog “Tiny Man” and ran out of his apartment but fears he lost all of his belongings.
