Grant makes cut, Atkins does not

Notre Dame guard Jerian Grant was among the 16 players that made the cut for the USA Basketball Men's World University Games roster today.

Irish guard Eric Atkins, who was also invited to the tryouts, did not make the cut.

The final roster of 12 players will come out Monday, when the team will leave for Russia to compete from July 7 to 12.

Training camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., will continue until Sunday for the selected players.
