Off-road vehicle crash injures driver

An Angola man was hurt in an off-road vehicle crash Saturday evening in Steuben County, Indiana conservation officers said.

Johnathan Ladig, 27, was driving the vehicle at a high rate of speed about 7:15 p.m. in a yard near Lake Charles East. He tried to turn and lost control of the vehicle, which slid into a post, conservation officers said.

The vehicle and Ladig hit the post. He was thrown off, and the vehicle rolled several times before stopping.

He was treated for a head injury at DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn and was later released, according to conservation officers.
