Police seek suspect in Saturday robbery shown on video

Fort Wayne police said today they have obtained store surveillance footage of the suspect in an early Saturday armed robbery at a Calhoun Street gas station, and are asking for the public's help in finding him.

The video is of of the suspect in the robbery at BP, 3833 S. Calhoun St.

Police said the suspect entered the business shortly before 2 a.m. brandishing a handgun, and demanded money from the register. He left walking casually southeast from the front of the store, they said.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the man in the video is asked to call city police at 260-427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP.

The robbery remains under investigation by city police and the Allen County prosecutor's office.
