Albion drug raid results in 9 arrests

Looking for one man in particular, police in Noble County raided an Albion home Friday and left with nine people in custody.

A joint investigation between the Indiana Multi Agency Group Enforcement Task Force, the Allen County Drug Task Force and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives led to the raid.

Detectives believed methamphetamine was being made at 3862 S. Indiana 9, the home of 44-year-old Randall L. Katz, police said.

During the raid, conducted by members of three different SWAT units, police arrested nine people in the home, including Katz.

Katz has been formally charged with dealing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.

He was booked into Noble County Jail with bail to be set at a later date.

The charges against the others arrested at Katz’s home have not been released.
