A second Rome City man has pleaded guilty to unemployment insurance fraud, collecting benefits while working full-time, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development said today.
David Detweiler, 41, has pleaded guilty in Noble Circuit
court, the department said in a statement.
Nicholas S. Spencer, 33, of Rome City entered a similar plea there last month, the department has said.
Detweiler was sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to repay $12,378 for the benefits he fraudulently collected, the statement said. The department has said Spencer was sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to repay the nearly $13,000 in benefits he fraudulently collected.
