Parade: Father's Day with Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker grew up without much of a father figure in his life, Parade magazine says in its Sunday edition.

So now family life means a lot to Rucker, the former frontman for Hootie & the Blowfish, according to the cover story in the magazine.

Rucker says his mother was the one who went to his football games, choir concerts and early gigs. Now he is applying what he learned to parenting his two daughters and one son.
