Magic

Magic needs a home

Magic is a 1-and-a-half-year-old neutered shepherd blend.

“Calling all patient dog lovers! I am looking for an active family of my own!

“Because I am such an energetic and athletic guy I require daily exercise.

“I will not be content to be left out in the yard to exercise on my own. I need daily long walks, jogs, or runs off the property to wear me out.

“I am the kind of guy who would also love a job to do. Ever heard of agility, flyball, obedience, or tracking? I have never had the chance to try any of these fun doggie activities but trust me I am sure to do well if given the chance with the proper training.

“I will need to go to a home without young children because I don’t realize my size and I play very rough with them. I do well with other dogs if they are more submissive and tolerable of my energy level. One of the homes I have been in had cats and they said that I would want to chase them. I didn’t hurt them but boy did I like to make those felines run. This is something that I need to work on if you have cats in the home.

“Now, don’t let this make you think I’m not a good dog! I just need someone who understands my needs and knows how to meet them. If you are interested in spending some time with me to make sure I am the right dog for you and your lifestyle, please come to the Allen County SPCA Tuesday-Saturday from 11a.m.-4:30 p.m. to visit me. I am patiently waiting to show you how much fun I am!”

He is available for adoption from the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.
