Diamont becomes 3rd Indiana pledge

Quarterback Alexander Diamont of Venice (Calif.) High School has committed to Indiana, per a report from the Los Angeles Times.

The Times reported Diamont, a 2014 recruit, gave his pledge to the Hoosiers following an unofficial visit. While he is not ranked by any of the major recruiting services, Diamont was selected to the Times All-City team.

At 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, Diamont has some room to grow frame-wise. His tape shows plenty of promise, and while he looks like a pro-style QB, the senior-to-be has some elusiveness in the pocket.

You can watch some highlights of Diamont here. 247Sports is pretty good about following commitments with a quick evaluation, so expect some news on a ranking for the signal caller soon.
