Creek transfers to George Washington University

Former Indiana guard Maurice Creek announced his commitment to George Washington University, a hometown program for Creek.

The guard will be a graduate transfer for GWU and will be eligible to play immediately.

Creek had an injury-riddled career with the Hoosiers. He suffered three serious injuries in 18 months, including a ruptured Achilles that cost him the 2011-12 season and season-ending leg injuries in his freshman and sophomore campaigns.

The redshirt junior averaged 7.8 minutes per game in 24 games last season.
