Trio of Hoosiers named All-Americans

Three Indiana baseball players made the Louisville Slugger All-American roster, which was released today.

Kyle Schwarber, Aaron Slegers and Dustin DeMuth made the squads. Schwarber was a second-team selection, while Slegers and DeMuth earned third-team honors.

It was the second season in program history with multiple All-America honorees, and the three selections were the most ever in a season for IU.

The Hoosiers' accolades come a day before NCAA regional play starts in Bloomington. IU (43-14) will take on Valparaiso on Friday in its opening game of regional play. Both Florida and Austin Peay are also in the regional pool.
