    The Komets are one of the ECHL's hottest teams heading into the playoffs: They are 8-2-1 in their past 11 games, and they hope they are peaking at just the right time.

And the winner is ...

The Reading Royals won the ECHL's Kelly Cup, defeating the Stockton Thunder 4-1 in the best-of-seven finals.

The Royals won the clinching game 6-0 in front of 4,662 fans at Stockton on Saturday night.

Former Komets defenseman Bryant Molle played in all 22 of Reading's playoff games, tallying one assist, a plus-5 rating and 12 penalty minutes.
